Zacharias Janssen (ur. 1580 w Hadze, zm. 1632 w Amsterdamie) – holenderski optyk, w roku 1590 skonstruował (wspólnie z ojcem Hansem) z dwóch soczewek mikroskop, syn Hansa van Jansena. Przypisywane jest im także wynalezienie teleskopu .
Z Biblioteki Cyfrowej UNAL: bdigital.unal.edu.co. Zacharias Janssen (1585-1632) był holenderskim wynalazcą, któremu przypisuje się wynalezienie pierwszego mikroskopu. Dla niektórych był także twórcą teleskopu; nie zostało to jednak jeszcze udowodnione.

Ze względu na słabe powiększenie (do 10 razy), mikroskopy nie zdobyły wtedy uznania jako narzędzie badawcze. Korzystając z pomysłu Lippersheya, około roku 1610 zbudował lunetę.
