Zsigmond Kisfaludi Strobl (1 July 1884 – 14 August 1975) was a Hungarian sculptor and artist. His sculptural style integrated elements of realism and academism style mainly engaged in creating portrait busts. The Kossuth Memorial near the Hungarian Parliament.

The creator of that monument, Zsigmond Kisfaludi Strobl, was born on this very day, 30 June, in 1884. Kisfaludi Strobl Zsigmond (Alsórajk, Zala vármegye, 1884. július 1. – Budapest, 1975. augusztus 14.) kétszeres Kossuth-díjas, nemzetközileg is ismert és elismert magyar szobrászművész. 1901-1904: Iparművészeti Iskola, 1904-1905: Stadtgewerbeschule, Bécs. 1905-1908: Országos Mintarajziskola. 1912-1913: Julian Akadémia, Párizs.
Zsigmond Kisfaludi Strobl gained recognition with his 1909 exhibition at the Budapest Művészház (Artists’ House), and his career reached its height between the two World Wars. The fruits of this period are the countless bronze statuettes, plaquettes and monumental works, along with travels and a number of acknowledgements at home and abroad.
