The International Cospas-Sarsat Programme is a satellite-aided search and rescue (SAR) initiative. It is organized as a treaty-based, nonprofit, intergovernmental, humanitarian cooperative of 45 nations and agencies (see infobox).

Cospas-Sarsat – międzynarodowy system satelitarny ratownictwa lądowego, powietrznego i morskiego. Został stworzony przez Związek Radziecki (system Cospas ) i w 1979 uzupełniony przez Sarsat system stworzony przez USA , Kanadę i Francję – stąd nazwa Cospas-Sarsat.
