    CPU-Z is a freeware utility that shows detailed information about your CPU, motherboard, memory and more. CPU-Z is a freeware application that has been around for over 20 years. Modern CPUs contain a set of instructions, that when activated, provide a wealth of information about the processor: brand, model, number of cores, cache levels, and so on.
    CPU-Z is a diagnostic tool that provides information on your CPU, including: processor name and vendor, core stepping and process, processor package, internal and external clocks, clock multiplier, partial overclock detection, processor features, supported instructions sets, L1 and L2 cache information, location, size, speed, and technology.
    You can remove the program either from the Add or Remove Programs window (from Settings, Control Panel), or choose Uninstall CPU-Z from Start menu, Programs, CPUID, CPU-Z. CPU-Z uses a configuration file, cpuz.ini, that allows to set several parameters for the program.
